About us

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand has the power to shape a brighter future for women and sickle cell warriors.

Founded in 2020 and launched in November of the same year, we’re a non-profit dedicated to advocacy, support, and meaningful change.

At the heart of our work are sickle cell warriors — individuals navigating a condition that remains critically underserved, even with Nigeria’s position as the global epicenter of sickle cell disease (SCD). With over 4-6 million Nigerians affected and more than 300,000 children born annually with SCD, yet with little to no systemic support in place, we are committed to bridging this gap through advocacy, education, and direct assistance.

Beyond our work in the sickle cell space, we stand firmly for women and young girls, particularly those in disadvantaged communities. Every day, they face systemic discrimination and threats to their well-being. We believe in dismantling these barriers, advocating for their rights, and unlocking opportunities through education and empowerment.

At Ntetee Foundation, our mission is clear: to create a world where sickle cell warriors receive the care and attention they deserve, and where women and girls, especially the most marginalized, are empowered to thrive.
